I bought Ssscat Automated Cat Deterrent with the hopes that it would keep my 4 cats away from my screen door! This product is phenomenol. After two sprays my cats have not returned to the door and I couldn’t be more impressed. We had tried everything including barricading the door. The product is easy to assemble and works with 100% positive results. You will be amazed. There is absolutely no harm to your pet and it is a great tool to keep their behavior in check. I highly recommend this product to anyone dealing with a kitty who needs to learn what his boundaries are and this safe and effective product is the best way to go!

This product works as advertised. I bought two of these devices and have now successfully trained my cat to stay off of countertops and tables. Some reseller websites advertise that the device makes a sound (beep) before spraying and will “sound condition” the cat; however, a very helpful customer service rep at MultiVet advised me that the sound option was recently removed from the product, because it did not work as expected. Refills last only 3 or 4 days at first, but longer as the cat learns to stay away. Buying the refills in bulk is less expensive. I am glad I found this product.

Keeps the kitties away from my bedroom door when I’m trying to sleep. This one did not contain the “horn”, and that should have been made clearer in the product description. However, I have found that the “hissing” does the trick, and doesn’t wake me up when I’m sleeping, so I think it worked out better for me in the long run. Highly recommend!

Let me start off by saying, I have 3 cats. They’re always running around, chasing each other, and of course, jumping on a multitude of things they shouldn’t be. Our main reason for buying this was because we had recently installed a surround sound system, and the subwoofer seemed to make the perfect place for them to sit, it’s a fairly large sub, and have a flat surface at the top where the speaker and display are. We had been trying to find way to keep them off of it, because we were mostly concerned they would tear they speaker. That’s where the SSSCAT comes in, I was looking for way to keep them off, without hurting them in any way, or altogether banning them from the living room (with some scented thing to keep them away for example). All I can say is that this worked wonders, the first time any of them got close to the sub, and it sprayed air, they never went back there again. I have now been using them to train them to not wake me up in the mornings, on the weekends they would start meowing early morning (5-6am) because they wanted food (and I did feed them before I went to bed around 11pm-12am. I just put this outside my door, and when they go get close to the door to start meowing, it sprays, and they have stopped doing that altogether.

This product works so well, and quickly. It delivers a burst of air via a motion detector, so it’s painless and the cat doesn’t associate it with you. We use it to keep our 4 cats from going upstairs, where they had started urinating on the carpet. The cans don’t last very long, but as long as the cat/s can see the can, they stay away, so it uses less and less.

I have 7 cats and one of the seven like to “mark” all over the house, well I put these in his favorite places and 1 time was all it took!!
I’ve used every product thats been out and nothing works as well as this!!! You don’t need outlets, chemicals, nothing, just a shot of good old air!!
The funny part is now they know that sound of the air shot and when it gets tripped, everyones ears perk up.

I love this product. My cats are fast learners (unlike their humans) and if they even SEE a can of this stuff, they will stay away from that area. I have six cats. Some areas are off-limits because one or two of them feel the need to mark there. This seems to do the trick and keep them out of the no-cat zones. It’s harmless, and it works when I’m not around! A little pricey, but worth it not to spend all that time and money on clean-up.

After spending years hearing the cats howl and scratch at the bedroom door, this product is a life saver. I just wish I had found it sooner. It works like a charm and doesn’t leave any residue behind. Definitely 2 thumbs up.
